1948 HALFPENNY ( UNC )

A scarce post-war British halfpenny in uncirculated condition. This 1948 example retains its original lustre and sharp detail, making it a desirable addition to any collection of mid-twentieth century coinage. The halfpenny denomination was withdrawn from circulation in 1969, rendering pre-decimal issues increasingly difficult to source in premium grades. An excellent specimen for the serious numismatist.
