A scarce British farthing from 1940, struck during the Second World War. This example displays uncirculated condition with sharp detail and original lustre. The farthing, worth one quarter of a penny, was a staple of British currency until withdrawal in 1960. An excellent addition to any collection of pre-decimal coinage or wartime memorabilia.
