1940 FARTHING (UNC)

A scarce 1940 British farthing in uncirculated condition. This pre-decimal copper coin represents a piece of wartime British numismatic history. The farthing, worth one quarter of a penny, was withdrawn from circulation in 1960. An excellent addition to any collection of vintage British coinage or historical currency.
