1888 DOUBLE FLORIN VICTORIA ( GVF )

A fine example of Victoria's Double Florin from 1888, presented in Good Very Fine condition. This scarce four-shilling coin displays excellent definition on both sides, with Queen Victoria's profile rendered in sharp relief. The reverse features the heraldic shields characteristic of this short-lived series. As Double Florins were produced only during the 1880s, this 1888 specimen is particularly desirable for collectors seeking key dates from this limited mintage period.
