1863 MAUNDY FOURPENCE ( EF )

A distinguished 1863 Maundy fourpence in extremely fine condition, struck during the mid-Victorian era under Queen Victoria. The EF grade reflects well-preserved detail with only light surface wear, retaining strong definition of the portrait and reverse inscription. Maundy fourpences from this period remain notably scarce, as production was restricted to annual ceremonial distributions to selected recipients. The silver composition and Royal Mint craftsmanship are evident throughout this example.
