1839 QUARTER FARTHING ( AUNC )

A scarce British quarter farthing from 1839, struck during the reign of King William IV. This example exhibits an almost uncirculated (AUNC) grade, displaying minimal wear to the highest points with sharp detail throughout. The obverse features the monarch's profile, whilst the reverse bears the denomination and date. Quarter farthings saw limited mintage and circulation, making surviving specimens in this condition increasingly difficult to locate. An excellent addition for collectors of early 19th-century British coinage or those specialising in fractional denominations.
