1838 MAUNDY TWOPENCE ( NF )

A scarce example of the 1838 Maundy Twopence, featuring the young head of Queen Victoria. Maundy coins were specially minted for the Royal Maundy ceremony, traditionally distributed to the poor on Maundy Thursday. This particular piece bears the NF (No F) mark, indicating the absence of a mintmark—a notable variant among collectors. Well-preserved with clear strikes and good definition, it represents an important piece of 19th-century British numismatic history. Ideal for serious collectors of Maundy coinage and Victoria era rarities.
