An impressive example from George IV's early reign, this 1822 Crown displays the SECUNDO edge marking characteristic of the second coinage series. Fashioned in sterling silver and graded Very Fine, the coin exhibits light to moderate wear with substantial detail preservation on both obverse and reverse. The king's portrait remains sharp and well-defined whilst Britannia shows excellent clarity. A desirable specimen for collectors pursuing complete Secundo coinage sets, combining strong visual appeal with the historical importance of the post-1820 monetary reform period.
