1560 ELIZABETH I 2ND ISSUE SHILLING

A handsome Elizabeth I shilling from the 2nd Issue (1560–1561), representing the early reign coinage of England's Golden Age. This silver coin features the young Queen's portrait and the distinctive style of Thomas Stanley's engraving.

Shillings of this period are highly sought by collectors for their historical significance and relative scarcity. The 2nd Issue is particularly prized, with this denomination struck in good silver content. Condition and eye appeal vary by example, making each piece a genuine relic of Tudor numismatics.

A worthy addition to any collection focused on Elizabeth I, English regal coinage, or 16th-century history.
