1858 MAUNDY TWOPENCE ( AUNC )

Scarce Victorian Maundy twopence from 1858, struck in sterling silver for the annual Royal Maundy ceremony. This example displays excellent preservation in almost uncirculated condition, with sharp detail across both obverse and reverse. The reverse features the crowned numeral 2 within an ornamental wreath, whilst the obverse bears the young head of Queen Victoria. A desirable date for Maundy collectors, particularly in this superior grade. Ideal for numismatists seeking authentic Georgian and Victorian silver issues.
