1758 SHILLING ( GVF )

A handsome example of a George II shilling, minted in 1758 during the height of the Seven Years' War. This coin displays the familiar laureate bust of the king on the obverse, with the royal coat of arms reverse. The piece shows good detail throughout with clear lettering and definition to the design elements. In Good Very Fine condition, it represents a solid addition to any collection of 18th-century British silver coinage. A desirable date from the final decade of George II's reign.
