1838 MAUNDY FOURPENCE ( VF )

A scarce Georgian-era Maundy fourpence from 1838, struck during the reign of King William IV. This piece displays fine condition with clear definition to the obverse and reverse designs. Maundy coins were historically distributed as alms during Holy Thursday ceremonies and remain highly collectable today. A notable addition to any British numismatic collection.
